CUT OUT EMO GEEK

The poet soulI write, it is my solace, the pen is a close friend.  It listens to my pain, recording it forever in its paper memory.  I used to think myself so alone.  I wrote, and found comfort in my poetry.  With some I shared my writing, some even understood.  I found tho, as I read the thougths of others, I heard my own voice coming from the page.  I hear now others who read my writing talk of these echos.  Often I have mused upon my insparation to write.  It is like a moment of clarity, sitting with the pen as the words flow out from you.  Almost like it isn't me writing it at all.

I'm pretty tired of being sick. Two severe colds and now this weird feverish laryngitis? Ridiculous. I can barely speak, I cough non stop, and I keep running a fever.

I wish I could sleep for 3 days straight, just to catch up with the past 3 nights I've lost. But no, I can't breathe when I lay flat, I cough all night and I have school anyway. I'm just dying for the weekend to come so I can drive home, get in my huge bed, curl up with my cat, and just pass the f out. If I'm capable of breathing by then.

Going to the clinic today to make them give me antibiotics. They wouldn't give any to me before because it wasn't strep, so maybe they'll give some to me for laryngitis. If they don't, I'm going to have my mom call Dr. Martinez and have him give me some...he's pretty free with pill prescriptions.
